Hi, I’m Salma! I’m a biomedical scientist by profession, but whenever I get the chance, I pack my backpack and set off on a new adventure. Over the years, I’ve often traveled solo, and I believe it’s been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. It’s taught me how to adapt, step outside my comfort zone, and see the world with curiosity and an open mind. I love trips that make you feel like you’re part of a place rather than just visiting its attractions. I enjoy getting lost in a city’s little streets, trying the local food, listening to the stories of the people who live there, and discovering those hidden gems that often don’t make it into travel guides. People who know me would describe me as curious, open-minded, and always ready to ask questions. I love meeting people whose life experiences are different from my own, and I believe that’s one of the most beautiful things about traveling: coming home with a broader perspective than when you left. When I’m not in the lab or traveling, chances are I’m already planning my next adventure!
